Gay Man Walking
Days 26 - 31, Auckland Area to Hamilton (km 661 to 832)
"There’s enough orange triangles to make a….large...orange....triangle mosaic. I can’t be witty right now, I just went up hill."
This week on 'Ross Jackson', watch me get eaten and then subsequently shat out by nature, and also electrocuted by fences! Proving you can not escape the death traps laid out by the laws of nature, and the laws of electric fences.
Days 32 - 35, Hamilton to Te Kuiti (km 832 to 924)
"I don't know if I should feel flattered or insulted by the amount of sheep that stop mid walk and pee at me?"
In this episode I sing a portion of a Sarah McLachlan song, and if this video then ends up making her some royalty revenue, then I have done my part as a true Canadian citizen.
Days 36 - 38, Te Kuiti to Pureora Forest (km 924 to ?)
"It is the morning of the 38th day of me sashaying my way down the country and by sashaying I mean trying to reenact Shakira’s 'Whenever, Wherever' music video which I am doing very easily in every single forest because of mud."
FACT: the Te Araroa trail sometimes is less of a trail and more of a slanted Slip-N-Slide made of nightmares and thorns. This is proven in this episode. Also, I befriend a steam-roller.
